With a sign for "CANADA", plenty of friendly cars stopped, though most were only going as far as Kingston. After under an hour got a ride to just south of Albany.―Anonymous

Halfheartedly hitching at sunset. Got a ride from a woman who took us to a bar in Kingston. Bartender let us crash at her Airbnb for the night. Everything works out one way or another.―Mossythemuse

Pretty bad spot altogether. Felt weird about trying to hitch up I-87 with the tollway situation so we tried 9W. Got picked up by a couple of girls who were headed up I-87 anyways and took us to New Paltz. Ended up jamming a little bit and walking around town.―Mossythemuse
