not a lot of space to pull over, low visibility, and the town seemed quite touristy and uppity. I only got a ride because an uber driver saw me a few times while I was waiting and circled around to get me after they were done driving for the day to help me out. They ended up enjoying the ride a lot and took me all the way to my final destination over 16 hours of driving, eating, and walking around the beaches along the coasteasily my most enjoyable ride yet, but I doubt it's replicable lol

The traffic is two-laned, but there are lots of spots for drivers to pull over and you have high visibility and lots of time for people to see youI got picked up really quickly by a very obviously high teenager. She told me that she's seen people hitchhiking here relatively often but she only picked me up since I was young. I have a feeling a lot of people here are like her lol

the spot is pretty bad because it's a short ramp with a large turn in it with no where for drivers to pull over. When I put my bag on, I got a ride pretty quickly since someone felt comfortable stopping traffic for a few seconds (vs having to wait for me to get my bag)―JodiMcJodson
