Pretty busy entrance, at least in the central hours of the day. People tend to drive not very far here, but still useful!

Towns in this area are a bit small, so you can mostly rely on long-distance travelers that stop by for a break. I was lucky and didn't have to wait long, but just be patient just in case.

Cops came shortly after I started hitching. Said it was illegal to solicit a ride at any on/off ramp, and kicked me out. Maybe if you get a ride quick enough it doesn't matter, but the police are not kind to hitch hikers. The actually spot was pretty good, high traffic area and enough room to pull off. With the police presence though, I wouldn't recommend this spot.

It isn't the best spot for pulling over, but flying right under the No pedestrian sign, there is a parking lot people can pull into. Decent amount of traffic, though id say most people passing by are not headed east. Guy that picked me up wasn't headed east but said he stopped because he has daughters and would want someone to pull over for them.
