Trying to get South, the location seemed good with nice traffic and plenty of room to pull over. Cops didn't bother.However, only two cars who stopped by, one offering a ride 2 exits down the road and the other one to check if I need some money.
Got a crappy first WaffleHouse experiecne who didn't help.
Wasn't in the mood of being on the road, I might not have the good aura that day for people to stop by.
I ended giving up and went back to where I stayed and decided to leave the city with a Greyhound the day after.

Got a ride from a Mexican worker, very nice. He offered me an extra pair of gloves.

9am on a sunday, thumbed going south. not a perfect stopping spot but there's some room to stop right after the sidewalk ends. consider going farther out when traffic is busy―disposessed
