Hard to find a proper spot. Lots of traffic, but short shoulder and sign forbidding pedestrians to go too much on-ramp.Got finally a ride from Annie, a girl in her twenties with a free afternoon who offered me to go all the way to Portland.
Very nice ride , lots of chat, nice weather and good view on Mt Reinier all the way !

This was a few day journey and we stopped on Orick for a few days to camp on the beach and check out the redwoods. I highly recommend this trip. Keep in mind this was in the late 90s. Things have changed.―lichenresolve
