Lots of traffic and there is a drive-in coffee shop, place to pull over.

Little rain.
Alex, after he got his coffee, picked me up. He was on his way to work behind the galley on the ferry.
Perfect ride, very nice dude, telling me about his dreams of making movies and leaving the state to travel as a vanlifer.

Sign said 'Ferry'.

Very windy, signs were saying 'pedestrians hitchhikers prohibited'

However, I got a first car who stopped but was only going to the Casino.
Five minutes after, Marianne and Sue, two funny old ladies and long-time friends, picked me up. They told me stories, were curious about my trip and invited me to visit their next time I'm in the area.

Sign said 'East'.

If you're heading south, spec. Bainbridge Island/Seattle, the spot by the bus-stop here is alright.

There's no space for calls pull over in either direction here. This road in general is not ideal, but the closer you get to the Kingston it widens. (I've seen people get picked up around there). In Poulsbo you'll have to get real close to 305 and even then it's only a few meters before space runs out.

Decent spot, considering there's not much room on the sides of Hansville Road for a while if you're heading north. You're next best spot is near to the gas station/NE Little Boston Road.

Decent spot to get onto US 101, as there's a largish gravel shoulder before the on-ramp where people can stop. First car which stopped (5 mins waiting) didn't go in my direction, second one (15 mins) took me all the way to the Port Angeles area. If you're not finding a ride, there's a bus station nearby, as well as places to buy drink and food.
