Good area with lots of room to escape to, emergency (field) camping outside town. Turned down a few rides here due to not being long enough but found one eventually.―jayman

Used this location prior to the disassembly of the oasis (highway overpass rest-stop). Knocked on semi-truck doors until someone offered a ride. Gas stations still exist here, so maybe still an option, but most likely less trucks now.―jayman

Got there around 6/7, one hour-ish to sunset with a sign. Ample pull off space and placed right next to two large stuck stops. Traffic was really slow here, mostly trucks driving past. Got a ride with a trucker within 10 minutes of flying a sign going to Chicago. I'm a young female, which may have affected things, but 10/10 for this spot.―Sara11us
