Bad spot, no one seems to take care of me, even if great shoulder. Might be because I was there too late in the afternoon.I ended up accepting a ride to Orlando to get there a Greyhound to Tampa, to not get stucked in Ocala for the night.
Driver was an old Florida man who started the ride by telling me how Muslims were replacing people in the area. End up telling me about his past and his religious beliefs.
Despite divergent opinions, he was very nice and accepted to do a small detour to drop me at the bus station.

Got my first ride 15 minutes into the trip from simply walking on the side of the road with my pack, no thumb out. This area is populated with many college students, some who are more inclined and open minded to pick up hitchers.―Anonymous
