I'm not completly sure about the spot, but I guess this is the place we hitchhiked from. It's a good place especially coming from Valizas or Aguas Dulces to get a lift on the highway 9 for example to Montevideo. Cars can stop very well on the hard shoulder but there is not much traffic.―Anonymous
