Don't visit the park. It has a very lonely Jaguar in a too small enclosure. The hitching back to the city is easy though. We were 3 guys and got a ride in the back of a small pickup.―Chris9012

Peaje pro Interbalneario: From Montevideo catch bus number 700 which brings you directly to this place (the last stop!). It is perfect to go to Punta del Este or Cabo Polonio, Punta del Diablo ect. If you wanna go to Punta del Diablo or Cabo Polonio ect. and they can't carry you the whole way I recommend you to make sure they go for Route 9 (San Carlos, Rocha ect..) There is a lot more traffic and chances a quite high somebody will pick you up. In general the weekend works way better, but if you are not in a hurry other days should work to. Mornings and evenings work better than midday/afternoon. And like everywhere: chances are better for women... Route 10 is probably nicer and could work in summer, but we didn't try.―Anonymous

Bus stop along Ruta Interbalnearia towards Ciudad de la Costa, Montevideo. Plenty of space, cars see you early enough, though going slightly uphill.―Anonymous
