Third car stopped, with sign "A6 aire de lisses", very good spot to find a ride to the aire de lisses, where you can easily get longer drive. As someone said theres not much space for cars to stop, but if you're fast and you can jump in. There's also traffic lights where it might be easier.―Iaclem

The spot here and the roundabout are not to bad. But unfortunately i couldnt get a ride for 2hrs there, even thought there where plenty of cars.Had to reach aire de limours-janvry. I went there with a bus and than I hitchhiked 5km and climbed about the fence. There i could find someone fast

During the day, nearly all cars passing hear go to the Christ de Sacoay station, which is a good spot for reaching the highway.In the morning though, there is always a big traffic jam, and half of the people are turning before to rech the CEA research campus.

Single male, no french. I came here from Paris, with Rer D train and 4307bus and a little bit of walk, around 16.45. The gas station still have a back entrance, a little hole in the fence where you can easily fit. Just becareful when passing the road as there is no light or pedestrian pass. I asked people around with a sign "Lyon Dir. A6". 3rd person I asked, was kind enough to got me into his car. He was Paul, the "Lazy Guru" :) He drove me to the gas station just north of Lyon, he was such a nice guy. We chatted all the way, around 4 hours. The gas station itself looked pretty empty at that time of the day. There is not a lot of traffic but most of the people going to Lyon direction so probably a good spot to get a ride. Très spot mais il faut être patient (c’est paris comptez minimum 1h), j’ai été pris jusqu’à metz avec un panneau indiquant ‘reims’se mettre au niveau de l’arbre pour être visible et montrer le spot derrière

Was heading towards Belgium and didn't want to enter Paris. Had a pannel "Vers Bruxelles" which was quite ambitious but in the end it worked, a ddrievr took me all the way until Lille, avoiding crossing Paris with public transportation under the heatwave. I put myself at the end of the pétrole station and waited. Good traffic on the station―Adrien44

I went to the end of the pétrole station trying to get all the traffic that was pretty low thought...In the end I catch a ride with a truck driver until Limours area avoiding me to enter Paris. Best spot in my opinion to go to Paris, used multiple times, maybe best to ask directly to drivers

Maybe we were lucky but we thought it would be much more difficult to get a ride to Paris from the comments above. We had a sign and waited just before the toll, there is space for cars coming on the right line to stop. A guy going to belgium took us all the way to Paris surrounding, we were two with a dog (on a friday afternoon).―Anonymous

We were dropped at this spot Sunday afternoon by a frequent driver who told us he usually picks hitchhikers there, and added that all drivers going from Rennes to Paris drive through this spot.We were a group of 3 so lined up along the exit, used thumb and sign and got picked up relatively quickly to be taken to Paris!

En plein cagnard, notre équipe de 3 a été prise super rapidement pour aller vers Le Mans!On aurait pu attendre plus longtemps pour sûrement avoir un trajet jusqu’à Rennes et nous rapprocher de notre destination finale Dinard.
Tout le monde sur le rond point était super souriant et nous encourageait!

Spot d'attente longue (~2h) car la voie d'insertion n'est pas encore re-réferrencée sur les GPS classiques (Waze, GPS de Google maps etc), donc pas masse voitures, mais qu'une seule direction possible : l'A10. Plus loin ça bifurque soit vers la Bretagne, soit vers le Sud, (utilisez l'Air de Limours-Janvry pour corriger le tir), l'essentiel est de vous tirer de là.Petit à petit les GPS et les gens se mettront à jour donc ça ira mieux à l'avenir.
(J'ai mis l'endroit où ya un espace pour se garer)
