“This spot gets a lot of traffic (all cars getting on the Autobahn to Hamburg). We were 2 people with a sign for Hamburg. Several reviews recommended the spot 500m south, at the traffic light, but it is before the intersection and in consequence got a third of the traffic. We we switched to the present spot, we had more people waiving to us and we eventually found a ride (after 30 min at this spot)”

“If you want to go to Hamburg, this is a good spot. Either stand by the road with a sign or ask people at one of the two gas stations. For going to Hannover or just west, this is not a good spot.”

“Waited for 50 mins with a “HH” sign without success and then walked a bit citywards to a much better spot where I caught a lift at the traffic light near Lidl within minutes. Doesn’t look like such a bad spot though many cars leaving the city are already on the left lane and it would make it a slightly bigger effort for them to stop. Many Danish number plates in the afternoon of Good Friday.”
