“Not the best place but you can manage and a lot of people see you. Just before entry to the station. The beside the billboard so you have a little of the shadow.”

“you have a billboard you can stand in front of for shade. also people can easily stop for you at the gas station. there are many people and also most are driving in the direction of bratislava.”

“One male 40+, with a sigh "BRATISLAVA", one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from Brno to Budapest (successful). It looks like a good place. The entrance to the pertol station, with loads of space (enough for 2-3 lorries). After the traffic lights, so people drive slowly, and can see you easily. There are also downsides. It's before the big junction, and cars go everywhere, to Prage, Viena,”

“Very good spot. Most drivers go to Budapest”

“I was in no rush, so take my waiting time with a grain of salt. This is a good place. A lot of trucks are going through this place, most of them heading toward Budapest, but after asking for a while, I got a ride directly to Romania.”

“Arrived and immediately offered tea from a resting truck driver. Sat with him for a bit, then went to hitch with a BUDAPEST sign. Second truck stopped for me, less than five minutes.”

“A petrol station near Tatabánya on a direction to Budapest (from Györ and Wien). Quite distant from city, so cars stopping here are going far.”
