There was so many cars at the Mcdonalds and other restaurants that I got overwhelmed and just asked trucks so got one which was going to ostrava to rest for the rest of the day. But there is a lot of traffic here but I dont know how far the cars go but almost all were czech. Easy to get here from the city with a bus which cost 1.5 euro. You cannot pass without ticket because you have to pay to driver.―kiausiniuvagis

I was here very early in the moring on a weekday so most of cars were stopping for coffee or something before going gor work in Bratislava. So asked trucks around and got a ride to Brno. Also there was a lot of trucks going to Bratislava so maybe its better to go to gas station further down the highway?―kiausiniuvagis

asked around and easily got a ride to brno, but currently because of road work there's no spot to really stand and wait, you have to ask―m

Easy to reach, a long bus stop with wide space for cars to stop and good visibility for cars (driving moderately fast). I thumbed without sign and after 10 mins got a ride to Brno, and dropped me at a good gas station directly on the highway (Lískovec) where I could very easily continue north to Prague.Seems like a very good place overall!

Not that many cars passing through, I'd say maybe a car every 3 minutes. I managed to find a Polish car to take me to Brno.―Tolk

Lots of cars coming through, all exiting through one lane, thumbing near the exit got me a few drivers asking where i was going, and i got a direct ride to Ostrava in 20 mins.―Tolk

There's not a lot of cars stopping, most of them only short distance. But they'll get you to Rohlenka, which is a great spot that got me another long ride in 15 mins―Tolk

low traffic, few trucks, first time here waiting about one hour to get ride to Humpolec, second time frozing 2 hours with busted ass after falling from that iced frozen hill with no reactions at all, was waiting till sunset, no luck second time―kapitan

Traffic here is pure dogshit. If you are brought here and willing to go to South (Austria) ask to drop you further at "obchodni centrum futurum" (7 km along E50 and to the right).I've never went over 60 minutes in my career, but this place is smth.

I actually had little hope for this place, because the fuel station looks very old and gets little traffic, but if you stay BEFORE it and hold the sign/thumb as much visible as possible, your ride will stop and get you to Austria.Would recommend, but it is firther than a shopping mall 3.6km before (to the north)

From my observation not many cars stopped there, but it should be easy to take a ride. I had sign Wien, but took a lift to Znojmo in about half an hour.―mandat

It seems to be great for Czech and Austria, but actually there are a lot of cars going S1 not A1, highly recommended to make a sign with direction. I waited there almost two hours, but after that I was taken by truck driver going to Slovenia. We managed to get to Brno in his driving time limit.―mandat

To be honest, not really great spot. Hitch was not slow by any means, but gas station personal kicked me out, so I had to stand on the parking nearby. One tip to getting here from Brno. Get the train to Brno - Starý Lískovec, from there you must walk to Martina Ševčíka street and just before you cross under highway you need to climb up next to highway on the side of the gas station. The climb is kinda steep, but doable even with large backpack and dress shoes. You need to walk next to highway (BUT BEHIND THE RAILING, THERE IS QUITE A LOT OF SPACE), until you reach the gas station.Take care, stay safe.

Really good spot towards Brno direction. Got hitch almost immediately. Only thing is, getting here could take long time. But If you take bus to station Újezd u Průhonic, it is just short walk. (There is a bridge over highway)―martih
