Low traffic in the evening and a drunk man, that lives nearby the gas station was talking to us and was pretty anoying.There is a 2* hotel at the station if you need to sleep overnight, but is pretty expensive.
But we were very lucky and a lovely couple took us home.

Very favourite place for hitchhiking to Brno or Prostejov direction by many hitchhikers. Parking place near pub suitable during severe weather and tiny hostel. You can ask drivers at parking too. Easy to stop for trucks, dense traffic. Waiting for a lift was never longer than half an hour.―Anonymous

Average place at the end of small city for hitchhiking to Prostejov and onwards. Truck drivers can stop here, but usually they doesnt do it. Many drivers ends in some near villages. I advise to use "Prostejov" sign but hitchhiking time can be longer than hour there.―Anonymous

Good place near bus station, direction Svitavy, Hradec Kralove, Pardubice, Sumperk or Jesenik. Dense traffic and 50km/h speed limit - waiting was never longer than 1 hour. Some pubs and shops in village around.―Anonymous
