“Good Place, stood on the safety lane at the entrance of the station on the highway and got picked up very quickly. I guess, a sign to Györ is the best choice, even if you want to go to Vienna or Bratislava. The Service Station itself opens at 7 am.”

“The best place to hitchhike in direction Wien!!! Started 9 am on a Friday. Make sure to stand along the highway, as you'll have a much better chance than if you stand within the gas station. The guy who picked me up said he saw hitchhikers 30 meters or so in front of me, but he wouldn't have been able to pick them up, as it was hard to stop.”
