“Road works don't really reduce to one lane anymore, so people don't want to stop there. Therefore being so close to Riga there's a ton of traffic but not willing to stop. Got a ride after 1h30 to Kekava from 100m down the road.”

“There is a bus stop: "Neilandi", the bus 26 go there from city and across the road is the sign of RIGA. Firstly I try to hitchhiking with the sign Vilnius but after 30 min with no result, I change the sing to Bauska. After this in 5 min one driver stopped and bring me to Bauska”

“Didn't get a ride in 50 minutes. Lot of locals. Enough place to pull over but trucks speed up there so difficult for them to stop (by the super market and Chinese restaurant). I moved 200m to the petrol station and got a ride from a truck in 10min.”
