What hitchhikers said along this route
“It's a busy station but somewhy for us it was hard to get a lift to Germany. I think one reason can be that the sign of the motorway exit to this station is together with the Salzburg exit so many drivers going to Germany think that from this station they can't get back to the highway so they don't stop. Other possible reason: Saturday. 2 persons (me and my girlfriend), 1h50m”

“NOT the best place to hitchhike towards Munich.I had to wait for 2 hours; but then, got a direct ride to Munich. I would suggest to go towards the border of Austria-Germany, and try there.”

“Two guys waited 2.5 hours to get a lift. We were hitchhiking and often asking drivers around, but most of them were not going to Germany. In the end a guy brought us to the border. But all in all, it's a good spot and I think we were a little bit unlucky. Second time I think we would wait at most 90 mins :)”

“Very low traffic, but I got super lucky by asking a guy. I’d guess you’d have to talk to people.”
