“First finger first car stopped. FIRST TIME OF MY LIFE ! After this experience is certainly a very good place. Driver picked me for the doll. A driver who made lot of hitchinking when he was without driving licence during a period. I gone for Narbonne direction A61.”

“Good spot to get out of the city, Waited 10 minutes on a Saturday morning with very little traffic. Stand in the middle, from there people coming from both directions can see you, best to write A61 on your sign or not use any sign, as it seemes people passing there don't go very far, but they can still bring you to the peage south of Toulouse”

“C'est un excellent spot. Malheureusement nous visions Avignon (direction de Carcassonne) et il était 19h. Donc beaucoup trop tard ! Une quinzaine de voitures se sont arrêtées, mais ils allaient tous à Balma, ou au nord/sud de Toulouse. Personne ne quittait vraiment la commune. On a finalement renoncé à partir.”

“DIRECTION TOULOUSE - NIMES - MONTPELLIER It's working night and day a toll on the highway, so get profit of that opportunity ! Waiting : 20/30minutes Speed : 35 km/h Traffic : high”

“If you're in toulouse, you can get there walking from the subway B. A good 15 minutes walk in the grass on the side of the road, behind the security slide.”

“was there saturday 10am, thumb barely out of my pocket when i got a ride to Montpellier. ce samedi matin 10h, à peine eu le temps de lever le pouce et hop :)”

“Got a ride from a girl who was heading to Foix for work so I was lucky as I was heading for Andorra. You can easily walk here from Ramonville as suggested with little danger as there is a small grass/dirt path along the motorway including a pretty flat area towards the end.”
― Rilien, 2015-11-19 · Ramonville-Saint-Agne
“or, from ramonville metro station, take bus 79 to stop "commerces". then it's a shorter and safer walk and you can crawl under the gate to the toll. see details in the article”
