What hitchhikers said along this route

“First finger first car stopped. FIRST TIME OF MY LIFE ! After this experience is certainly a very good place. Driver picked me for the doll. A driver who made lot of hitchinking when he was without driving licence during a period. I gone for Narbonne direction A61.”

“Good spot to get out of the city, Waited 10 minutes on a Saturday morning with very little traffic. Stand in the middle, from there people coming from both directions can see you, best to write A61 on your sign or not use any sign, as it seemes people passing there don't go very far, but they can still bring you to the peage south of Toulouse”

“Il y a beaucoup de direction possible. panneau fortement conseillé. Il y a un peu de passage et de la place pour s arrêter”

“Waited for about 2 minutes with a sign A61 Foix until a woman stopped and dropped me of at the first aire on the autoroute.”

“C'est un excellent spot. Malheureusement nous visions Avignon (direction de Carcassonne) et il était 19h. Donc beaucoup trop tard ! Une quinzaine de voitures se sont arrêtées, mais ils allaient tous à Balma, ou au nord/sud de Toulouse. Personne ne quittait vraiment la commune. On a finalement renoncé à partir.”

“We went to Tarbes/Lurdes, as a couple we got a place quite fast (although there are just the drivers from one direction), a good spot in shadow near a Spar shop.”

“i got a ride in 5 minutes, but the transport until there was very long, the gate was closed, i just had luck someone got out with his car at this moment... anyway, i really don't like to stand at péages, they are way too dangerous. i didn't feel safe having to cross the whole thing. But maybe it's the best way to hitch out of toulouse in this direction. It's the first time i try...”

“On March 2014, waited 2 hours near the roundabout, then walked to the toll and stayed on the right of the tool. We were 2 persons and have found a ride after 10mn.”
