“A good place if you want to go towards Italy, France and Germany or the Czech Republic. We were heading towards Budapest and we had some difficulties to find someone who was driving in that direction. But a lot can depend on what time you hitchhiking. On the plus side, a lot of trucks and quite a lot of passenger car traffic at the gas station. A good place to stop/accommodate. There is a shower, ”

“Maybe one of the best place to hitchhike to Czechia or Poland. A lot of the car are polish. Also lot of family with full cars so you have to be patient. We waited with a sign "Poland" and an Italian family with a camping car took us directly to Gliwice, they were going to Warszawa and we were going to Krakow.”

“WHAT A LUCK! We got to the parking spot through a hole in a fence (no other way around), got hastled by police and then got a sandwich at the Viva. Its open till midnight and we headed out of there at 11 pm. Thought we were going to sleep somewhere around till morning, fortunately, my friend thumbed a car for fun right when we got out of the gas station and they took us right to our city! Great sp”

“Gas station, the best way to go to Praha. You have to go by tram to last stop Ustredni Hrbitov, then go by the highway about 1,5 km. Lot of cars, all are going to Praha, but always several hitchhikers waiting”
