What hitchhikers said along this route

“I walked here for 4 hours from the centre, because other spots did not exist before. But the spot was perfect. After 10 minutes a Slovak took me to Ljubljana and from there I got 5 minutes later directly a ride across Austria to my home”

“A lot of traffic but noone taking us to Rijeka, in the end we made a sign for Karlovač and got picked up. It’s on a crossroads near a pedestrian crossing, just next to the on-ramp for the highway. Nice runoff area for pickup.”

I don't know if we were there at a bad time (10:40 - 11:40) or if it is just a bad spot but the result was the same. After that we went on to the highway and hitchhiked on the side. A guy going to Germany took u”

“A lot of tourists going back to Poland, Slovakia, Czechia and Austria. Lot of space for cars to stop. Also the gas station that is close has very nice staff. They gave me cardboard and a marker to write my sign.”
