Very good spot for hitchhiking. Just walk out of Ashtarak and start hitching. I had a ride after 2 minutes from some guys that were going in the opposite direction and brought me a long way!―Anonymous

Place is near a small gas station, right after an intersection, and before a left turn on the main road to Ashtarak, Talin and Gyumri. Great place to hitchhike! Waiting time < 10 min.―Anonymous

Direction: south. This is the place where a real highway out of the city finally starts. In October 2014 construction of the road was still happening and it made hitchhiking a bit harder. When the road is finished it should be easy to hitchhike here.―Anonymous

Good spot for hitching South. A sign for Iran had me picked up in 20 mins, but there's a lot of local traffic. I always just try to hitch with higher end vehicles. Lada's and such cars are almost always local, and will almost always ask you for money.―Anonymous
