Place is near a small gas station, right after an intersection, and before a left turn on the main road to Ashtarak, Talin and Gyumri. Great place to hitchhike! Waiting time < 10 min.―Anonymous

Very good spot for hitchhiking. Just walk out of Ashtarak and start hitching. I had a ride after 2 minutes from some guys that were going in the opposite direction and brought me a long way!―Anonymous

Lots of traffic, and the stoplights at the crossroads slow cars down, which helps. It wasn’t hard to get a ride to Sevan. Overall, a good spot.―Anonymous

All cars going to Yerevan from at least Tbilisi come through here. That is why the spot is great. But it doesnt mean there are many cars in total. Walk the road a bit to find a good spot. Took me 30 min with an Armenian driver but there were like 10 cars per minute so be prepared for a little wait.―Anonymous

Northern Bus Station is a good place to hitch rides to Sevan and Dilijan. Taxi & Marshrutka drivers might be insistent, if so then just walk a little up the road.―Anonymous

Theoretically a good spot to Gyumri and Ashtarak I think. Unfortunately I realized way to late inti the ride that this is not a group of friends but a shared taxi. It did not say taxi anywhere. Driver acted like people I hitched with, so I assumed no need to make the money issue clear. You should…. Anyway in the end it was 1.500 Dram so 3,40€ roughly.―Anonymous
