If you're going South on the Stuart Highway from Darwin, you might find yourself here. There is a tree which will provide some shade. Prepare to laugh (or more likely cry) when you see the hitch hiking graffiti that awaits you at the telephone cable mast.―Anonymous

Took me almost two days.Shade till ~ 2 pm. Cars have decent speed and place to stop. Not much traffic. Most people go to Lake Argyle. (After 20 km they turn to dust road to the right)
Hawk was attacking me every 15 mins, though only when I turned back to him. (pointing finger at him made him go back to his nest)
Slept a bit further from street.

There is space for cars to stop. Also shade in the morning from the tree.Only traffic leaving the town, not much of them.
