If going North this is the best place to be. Maximum traffic out of Airlie Beach and all those on the A1.
Just stand near the Railway tracks. 80kmh zone.

Great place heading either north or south; big bays and parking to pull over in. The bus from Airlie beach stops a couple minutes walk away.

Tres facile soi nord ou sud. Beaucoup d'espace pour les voitures. Il y a un arret de l'autobus de Airlie Beach a 2 minutes a pied. Moi j'ai attendu moins que 5 minutes ici.

Super good place to hitch to Airlie Beach. All the cars passing are going there... big bay for the cars to stop and all the traffic going slow!

Dont usually wait on side of highways but cars only just leaving town/ring road and plenty of road to pull over in. Lotta traffic heading north so not too bad
