Got spot with plenty of space to pull up. Not much shade. A cop spotted me and other local hitchhiker and camped down the ramp for a 30 min or so, fettering rides. Although it’s not illegal in NSW and we were standing before the actual freeway. The cops went away and didn’t come back or cause any more problems―CarlitosPL

I was dropped here by my driver, and waited over an hour asking people for a lift, but only local traffic was passing. I ended up leaving this place once the rain stopped and found a lift closer to the on-ramp.I would go to the spot on the on-ramp in the future. Avoid here unless you want to get into Albury.

Nice place to wait with heaps of people, but most of them locals. So try to get a lift in North Albury, better. I got a lift and someone dropped me ON the actual freeway, under a bridge, and people felt pity and got me in 15 minutes ;)―Anonymous
