mostly local traffic of cars going shopping, got a ride to Landeck fairly quick but for longer distance maybe try the rest stop on the other side of town

mostly traffic heading east, gave up after an hour and went to another spot since we wanted to go west

great spot, good visibility, loads of traffic heading out the city in most directions. avoid taking shorter distance lifts from here as it can be hard to hitchhike through Tirol villages. we took a lift to imst but you could probably get a ride as far as bludenz if yr patient or start early enough.

this roundabout is very convenient, but you will miss some cars (comparing to the another spot I added for Imst),which go to motorway. But this is a perfect place for hitchking in darkness, many lights

this is a spot for hitchhiking from Imst to Feldkirch and Innsbruck directions. There isn´t much free place here, but it works. a lot of cars. But don´t try this spot in darkness, it could be dangerous.

Bus stop and pizzeria here. A lot of place to stop a car and great visibility. Much better place than every spot in Imst if u wanna go North.

There is no real traffic light here as the map suggests, but okay spot for west direction, not that used roundabout but there's some width for car to stop before entering the highway, mostly locals use this ramp, wait time of 40 minutes

There is no much time for drivers to decide but still wait only 20 minuts for pickup towards Bregenz.

You can get to the hitchspot for free with a bus from Innsbruck. For direction north There is a plenty of space to hitchhike on the road directly or you can ask on the gas station but there are mostly people from the oposite direction. The spot is good but you might still need to wait a bit to get lift to germany. If you are heading for A7 there is a better spot further up. About 10km further in Fernpass there is a gas station that is on the right side of the road where you can both ask and hitchhike with thumb. So if you get offered short lifts i would recomend to go to the fernpass gas station. That's your best chance for getting a lift to germany

most of the cars going direction north, happily some of the few cars going south stopped, a certain rule about hitchhiking once again proved: you only need one helpful person
could be worth taking a train more up north to a place where you are direct on the main road and get more cars

Seems like a good place at first sight, but it's really wortless. Many Austrians with space in the car pass me by smiling, but no willing to help. I had problems in all over the Austria, but Tirol is something special
