2 guys, in the evening, in the end with sign "WN" (Wiener Neustadt) I recommend trying to reach the McDonald's in Bad Fischau (beautiful building) because many people go just locally, but from the Rest station it's just easier to go further.―Anonymous

Tough spot, a lot of heavy vehicles but no intensive to offer a ride. Can be hard to find a good spot. At the end I hung around the gas station. I had no luck with standing near the exit or in the town. After all got a ride to Wien.―Anonymous

Great spot, around 40 cars per minute on a Friday midday. Our sign said Munich and we got dropped off close to Linz.―Anonymous

Nice place, and a bit of luck on a way directly to Graz. Guy took us to gas station near Graz airport. Probably good spot to Slovenia - Ljubljana.―Anonymous

Really nice spot for Znojmo and Vienna, cars are slow from the roundabout, can see you clearly and almost everybody goes in this direction. Even though it didn't feel really safe a truck stopped for me after just few minutes. But for a passenger car, the spot is large enough.―Anonymous

Not perfect in terms of safety but it is just the best in this area. Only few minutes to take a ride to Wien―Anonymous

good spot to hitch a ride to linz/wien. mcdonald’s next door. better than trying to get to the ENI station down on A1 m, there’s no back road to it―kami

A lot of traffic, mostly - but not only - cars from Germany, Austria, but also Hungary, Slovakia and Czechia. However! Germans won't take you, so it is better not to waste time with them...

That's how the classic hitchhiking spot should look like - cars going slow, there is plenty of space to stop and you are visible from a far. I got there on Wednesday evening and got a ride to Andorf (small town in north Austria) with a driver who was going to Munich eventually.―Anonymous

In the evening petrol station was empty, only local cars there. It looks like a good spot, but somehow I decided to go to the next spot and there I got a ride in 20 minutes―Anonymous

Just went to the gas station. We (2 guys) didn’t even have to take our sign out, we got a ride to Munich with the 3rd car we asked. I guess quite lucky, but the spot looks really good anyways.―nach0

Good spot to go to ViennaGot picked up by the third car, got taken close to Vienna.
It's in a shade, cars have nice spot to stop and people are going to the direction of Vienna. Feels comfortable.
2 guys, backpackers

Good for people going to Vienna visible to people coming out of the gas station and traffic has enough time to see you and stop safely. Vary out of the way only ended up there because my last driver went out of his way to go past Sopron where he was.―Anonymous

Good spot, plenty space for cars to stop, but they are going pretty fast. We had sign "Wiena" and after 43mins nice grandma took us. You can get there trough the hole in fence we made, Its almost directly above the bridge. Its little bit tough to get there, but you can manage it somehow, if you have a will―Hesni
