We tried to Innsbruck but instead we ended up in this village ahh town haha. Anyways 2 young guys picked us up and gave us beers for free. It was awesome but I believe we were lucky I would recommend going to the nearest well rated hitching spot from here and stop there.―Anonymous

Fine people, asked around but unfortunately, most of them had only 1 place. We were standing next to entrance to petrol station. Keep smilin and have a positive energy!―Anonymous

Not very busy and no one particularly willing to take people. Got a lift from a truck driver but wasn't particularly useful:\―Anonymous

Not the best gas station, not many cars going to Munchen/Salzburg - probably would be better to catch someone to get you after Innsbruck (there is a junction with another bigger highway from Italy). Also, it’s better to ask than to stand at the exit.―Anonymous

Well, sucks balls for standing there with a sign, but when I mustered the courage to actually ask people in the petrol station after 2,5 hrs, I was gone towards Rosenheim (D) in no time.―Anonymous

Not a lot of space for people to stop, but it's the best in Kufstein.―Anonymous

Weekdays, early afternoon. Hitchhiked by my own (1 girl). Going from Kufstein to Salsburg. There is a gas station at the roundabout, on the road leading to the motorway. However, most cars with the Austrian license plate are just going in the city and the German plates are taking the small roads until they reach Kiefersfelden (first town in Germany). I got a lift to Rosemhein after 20 minutes, asked the driver.

Almost all German traffic going towards Italy comes through here. But petrol on the other side of the border is usually cheaper, so many will wait for a station in Austria.―Sam iam

From here we two catched easily a lift to Kufstein via the A93. In thr evening there is a lot of traffic going south and there is enough space to stop by.―Anonymous

It looks like a great spot to find someone to Salzburg but it took me more than 3 hours to find someone who was going there. Most of the people I asked were going to Munich, not a lot of Austrian stop there, and we've been controled by the police after I was in the car cause it's next to the border. I think the oil is cheaper in Austria so you have probably more people who stop before crossing the border.―NotASerialKiller
