Fantastic spot to get to Belgium but be careful when walked from the Capellen station, there was a fence and closed gate. It was not an easy climb.

Big petrol station with plenty of traffic to B and NL. You get here by taking the train to Capellen (4th stop from Luxembourg station), a short walk and an easy climb over a fence.

Great spot to hitchhike to Belgium - especially Brussels. I was hitching to Amsterdam and started Friday at 19:00. Within 30 minutes I had 7 offers to go to Brussels. Eventually I accepted a ride to Maastrict and went from there to Amsterdam. Great spot!

Excellent spot for destination Netherlands. Almost exclusively Dutch plates here. I asked the first car when I got our of my previous car and got a ride immediately to Eindhoven.

So far my first and BEST hitchhiking experience. Got out my sign, very first car stopped, driver took me 300km, close to Lille. Considering I was there in the morning with little traffic, this was a huge success! :) Stand at the very end of the service station, there's a parking lane there! Perfect.

Excellent spot for hitchhiking to Belgium. Got ride to Brussels after 30 min waiting. Heaps of cars and trucks stop here to rest and fill a tank.

Nice spot. Got a ride in about 30 minutes for about 150 km to a petrol station in the direction of Brussels.
