Sit on the south side of the building to catch the longway-drivers. We waited for about 30 minutes in the pleasant sunlight (and there are free bathrooms!) until a very pleasant driver approached us and took us all the way to Gent.―Anonymous

At the entry of the tunnel there is a bus lane.It is'nt often used so you can wait here for a lift.

Got a ride to Brussels in 10 mins, during a Thursday evening (6ish). I think it was just luck though. Also technically illegal, since you're standing after the highway sign.―Kidp3
