I was waiting here only because police stopped me here and told me that I can't go to the highway. Even though I was trying to explain to them that I'm only going to the ramp but they still insisted that I can't go there and that I need to stay here. So I stayed till they left (they were controlling cars speeds here) and then some time after to make sure that they don't come back to son and then I moved to highway ramp. Only one car stopped and it wasn't even going to the highway―Autostopeks

I was staying with my thumb up on small green area right before place where ramp connects to highway (so with my right hand I could flag cars from highway and from my left hand I could flag cars on ramp). This place looked like shit but even so somebody stopped after just 20 minutes (he was going on ramp so maybe it's better to just flag cars from it but idk) I got a quite far ride in direction of Turkish border.―Autostopeks

Most traffic here is not going farther than Svilengrad, but Bulgarians generally are really helpful and friendly so I always found someone who offered to just bring me to the border from here.―HolyDrinker
