there's only the traffic from the ferry, so if you don't get a ride from one, expect one-one and a half hour waiting. or you can be lucky with a wandering driver.

I knew it was a bad idea from the start, but had no choice. There's place, but visibility is mediocre, and cars go way too fast.

Big truck stop, shower, laundry, shop, etc.

Best place possible.

barely any traffic towards vidin (tried it on a sunday and it was not long before sunset). as i mentioned earlier it is supposed to be way easier on fridays. ended up taking the train from montana railway station to vidin (about 3hrs and 3,50€).

Bad Spot to go to Sofia. Almost No Traffic
Its better to stay at the Border and ask drivers there.
We took the train

Waited 2h30. The traffic was quite slow and the cars really don't look willing to get people right before the border. Managed to get a ride to Craiova though.

We were the luckiest people on earth. The spot on its own us pretty shitty, zero traffic in the morning. There was one car in the whole petrol station and we talked to them and they were two italians going to sofia who taked us immediatelly. Without them we would be stuck ther for at least 3 hours.

there is often a long cue of trucks waiting for the toll (since bulgaria is not a schengen country) and you can walk along the cue with your sign and find a pretty long ride
