Going East, Walked from the border, picked up on my way to the HWAY (walked with my thumb on) and dropped to the next town, Chilliwack.
Guy alone with a big backpack.

Best way to go west from Chilliwack. There isn't much space, but traffic is slow enough to stop easily. Problem can be that there is too much traffic and they don't see you early enough, but it shouldn't be too long before the right one comes.
