On paper this spot kind of sucks. It's kind of a suicide lane, but I for some reason I have good luck here.Most of the traffic that you'll see here are pulling off to go to bridle falls waterpark.
That said, try not to get dropped off here. If you get stuck there are some convenience stores, about a 10 min walk away.

This ramp is in the middle of nowhere. Try to avoid being dropped off here. All the traffic is heading west, towards Van. Eventually I ended up walking to the next exit, via Rosedale.Try to stay off the highway here. It's pretty fast.

I got three ride offers in 30min, but they were all short. I took the last one, and got skunked two ramps down. Try to only accept rides that are going to Hope or beyond.With the truckstop, this is a good ramp to post up on.

Truck stop. I spent the afternoon here. Most truck driver won't accept to pick you up due to Compagny policy, but you will find a free spirit one who will accept. I got a ride straight to Edmonton from here. Good option on a rainy day!―Anonymous

Best way to go west from Chilliwack. There isn't much space, but traffic is slow enough to stop easily. Problem can be that there is too much traffic and they don't see you early enough, but it shouldn't be too long before the right one comes.―DSLR

I posted up on the ramp, at the end of the Jersey barrier. I didn't have to wait very long. There is a big truck stop near by for provisions, and the SFX bus stops just up the road, so this is a good spot for heading east out of the lower mainland.―RDATH
