Heading to lion’s head through Barrie, left from downtown Toronto. Literally the easiest way to get out of the city I have been taken il less than two minutes to Barrie instantly―Anonymous

Not much space for people to stop, but I waited about 5 minutes there on a Sunday morning with an "Ottawa" sign and got a ride past Kingston.―Anonymous

Hitching south-west towards Burlington, Hamilton, Niagara Falls.Easy to get there with Toronto/Mississauga public transit, but costs $7 for two transit fares, which is not so great...
Stood just before no pedestrians/bicycles sign. Decent traffic, slow after lights, little place to pull over, but possible.

There is not even a sign prohibiting to go on the on-ramp here! So it is technically legal contrary to all other on-ramps in the area!Flat surface with enough land for cars to pull off. A nearby field close-by to nap, hide of stash things + close to a Walmart. This is straight a few minutes from the Vaughan station, the northmost station to leave the city. Easiest so far!
