Hitching East, this was an okay spot. Your best shot is probably talking to people making a stop at the coffee shop across the street, that's how I got a ride to Timmins. Be aware that the road going east will be leading thru 2.5 hours of nothing, with often no reception. I was told some hitchhiker disappeared here in 2025.―Anonymous

Timmins is a not so great place to hitch out of, going east. No shoulders to stop anywhere. The ESSO Gas station is quite busy, more than the Shell opposite, so I was lucky to get a short lift to Matheson.―Anonymous

Gave it a 3star as it was raining all night and there's just enough of an eave for me to nap where it's dry. Sign was for thunder bay and Winnipeg, I said it's good.. it's the route I want anyway. Unexpected as I was just eating when the guy pulled in front of me.―Atopilak
