Was dangerous to enter... there is no space for the cars stop. You must walk some hundred meters on a bridge without not space for walk. I found really dangerous, and iligeal as well, you are not allowed to enter.

Toll gate - excellent spot for rides west towards Lanzhou (20 minutes waiting time for the first ride). To get here take the metro (Line 1) to Houweizhai station. From here it's a 20 minutes walk to the toll gates (from the metro station walk 100 meter back towards the ramp which leads to the highway. It's a 500 meter walk on the highway to the toll gates. Staff and police were indifferent).

Roads to chengdu and sichuan. Great spot to hitchhike! Unfortunatly i don't remember the bus who go there. I think it's 315 but i'm not sur, you can take from the west avenue. It's around 30mn to go there by bus. You have to exit 1 or 2 stop after the tv tower on your left. You can not miss it, so ifyou are not sur it's the tv tower you see, It's not the tv tower. Then keep walking same direction as the bus (or go back on your feet if you past under the highway in the bus)Then you have to walk along the road who go to the toll gate. There is a sign "forbidden to pedestrian" but nobody care and chinese also walk along that road. It's not dangerous and only around 100m walking to the toll gate. I find a 300km drive in 10mn, a lot of place for car to stop, they drive slowly and can see you.
