It was a great spot for us to get south towards Bosnia. Not that much traffic, so could be harder in the evening hours or at night. Probably hard to get here if you don’t get dropped off by another car. Good luck & safe travels!―Anonymous

This highway is literally dead as of 08/2026. There was roughly one car per minute passing on the highway, so no chance to catch someone on that empty parking lot. We decided to stand right on the highway at the entry to the parking lot, there we were very visible for every passing car and they theoretically were able to take the ramp onto the parking lot. I think an issue is that the highway is very new and also costs money, people also seemed quite unwilling to take us. After 2hours someone stopped and took is to croatia, we were literally about to abort and walk to the next rural road to get to the Udvar boarder crossing into croatia. We could easily have ended up spending the night here if it wasn’t for that nice croatian guy. Wouldn’t recommend this route. Good luck and safe travels.―Jasper03

Freneza loko, sed haltigebla, pluvis vere forte, sed ĝi funkciis.

Not so busy traffic, some cars with ZG licence plate, probably going to Zagreb. One guy offered us (two guys) a ride to Belgrad after 10 minutes. Got a ride in 25 minutes to Osiek, around 10 AM, Friday.―Juhfej

Direction: South, CroatiaThere's a toll-station, where Auto-Stopping is actually forbidden, but the guy there was quite tolerant.
Traffic was very low in the evening, but since almost all the cars have to stop it's not impossible.

It's hard to get to this place if you're on foot, but when you get to the toll, it's easy to hitch a ride if you're going to the west (Zagreb). There are a lot of people going to Zagreb since it's the capital city. I waited for 15 minutes around 8 AM when the traffic was really sparse, but it was enough.―Anonymous

Got a lift to Vukuvar from a truck driver here. Probably there is lots of local traffic too, though. McD is around the corner if you need internet.―Anonymous

Bus stop. Good spot towards Osijek. Surprisingly a lot of traffic for a small road. I don't know why you would be here though :D―VeikkaK
