I see, you were heading towards Brno! Of course it's senseless to hitchhike right on the highway, it's not even allowed :) On the other hand, I've hitchhiked at this place towards Tábor many times. There is a breakdown lane where everyone can safely stop and they are willing to stop because they see you in the middle of nowhere :) Despite the fact it was mostly dark when I was standing there, my average waiting time is less than 5 mins.―Anonymous

middle of the highway. don't get off the car here. it is impossible to hitch a car which goes 130/h. after one hour, i took the benesow way and found a petrol station to come back to Prague.―Anonymous
