Very good gas station for hitchhiking. We were standing with a sign (CZ written on it) at the gas station exit. We managed to stop someone who was going directly to Prague!―Anonymous

still a great spot, after about 20 minutes got approached by a very nice old man who himself has hitchhiked in his youth. It's a bit of a walk from the train/bus station, but I didn't mind―ingo

I stood here multiple times. 100% the best spot towards Chomutov, usually takes less than 10 minutes.―Anonymous

I wasted a lot of time looking for a direct ride to austria, so stay with BRNO and there change to an international traffic.to get everyone(gas station, mcdonalds drive through and dine in), stay at the Exit to highway.
good luck.

brilliant. read the comments that it's hard to get here. I came by car so I had no issues at all. Would recommend.―Anonymous

Absolutely the best spot towards Prague. Slow cars, good spot to stop, could be seen easily by drivers. Hitched from here a lot of times times and never waited here for more than 10 minutes. Only problem is getting here, but if you can convince your driver to drop you off here, you are guaranteed to get nice ride.―Anonymous

To be honest, not really great spot. Hitch was not slow by any means, but gas station personal kicked me out, so I had to stand on the parking nearby. One tip to getting here from Brno. Get the train to Brno - Starý Lískovec, from there you must walk to Martina Ševčíka street and just before you cross under highway you need to climb up next to highway on the side of the gas station. The climb is kinda steep, but doable even with large backpack and dress shoes. You need to walk next to highway (BUT BEHIND THE RAILING, THERE IS QUITE A LOT OF SPACE), until you reach the gas station.Take care, stay safe.

Really good spot towards Brno direction. Got hitch almost immediately. Only thing is, getting here could take long time. But If you take bus to station Újezd u Průhonic, it is just short walk. (There is a bridge over highway)―Anonymous

Really good spot, lot of cars towards Pilsen, a lot of space on the side and drivers are going 80-90kmh, so you are safe. Even police passed us and let us stay there―Stokars

Nice place, great for Prague, you can get here by train from main station in Brno, the station is Stary Liskovec. There is a hole, you can go through and then you climb a small bank filled with trash and you are there―Stokars

In the morning there aren't many cars driving through the gas station, but still it is a good spot to go to Hradec Králové.―Anonymous

Hard to find people going to A9 or Czech republic. But we found a guy who took us all the way to Prague. So I guess it was worth the wait :)But maybe consider taking a ride on to the A8 if you want to continue north/East
A lot of people going to Munich and Austria though

Good place to travel to Prague. Cars go slow, there is a long bus lane and you are visible.―Anonymous
