If u stand before the spot right where the barriers start the cars will see u early enough and will be able to stop. They go pretty fast so this is important. There is not much better spots before Hollabrunn, even though this one is not ideal and u need to be careful. 2 cars stopped in 20 minutes. We (2 dudes) held sign CZ.―Filipnatripu

That is great spot, clearly the best in Znojmo. You have really good visibility and there is a lot of space for the drivers to stop. They are not going super fast, just leaving the city, so that's perfect.―mandat

golden gas station for going north (Austria, Slovakia, Czechia, Poland), many cars of various nationalities, after asking around a couple took us all the way to Znojmo (close to Brno, CZ), definitely recommend―DaweedekAndVojta
