Not much space for cars to stop on. Best option for them is to stop on the bike lane in the round about so not ideal.. However traffic wasn't busy so it worked out.Good thing is that in rural Denmark it usually pretty easy to find a ride. People are helpful and down to earth.
Though.. I am a white cis man, so I can't say if it is as easy for everyone..

Avoid at all costs if you're getting there after lunch. There is no fuel station only a food place which shuts at 5pm so if you arrive after lunchtime you will likely get stuck here. I had to camp in the forest overnight.―Chriswally

This is a perfect spot - a nearby petrol station provides a decent amount of traffic while there is plenty of space for cars to stop. Used this spot to hitch to Hamburg.―Anonymous

Best place if you want to leave Rødekro and go west, to Løgumkloster for instance. There is a place for the cars to stop right after the crossing. However, bare in mind that people are reluctant to stop in the outskirts of Denmark.―Anonymous
