As of July 2012 there is some construction work going on and the intersection is being rearranged. It seems they are making two ramps to get on the motor way. The northmost ramp seems the better place to stand. Still a very good place in Aarhus to get on the E45 and South, but if you are going to Copenhagen, I would suggest to go to the harbour and hitch a ride at the ferry.―Mikkelbue

Very good spot, just stay right after the roundabout; if you are going towards Aalborg it might be useful just to thumb, take the first car and ask to be dropped half a km further at the traffic lights (that's what I did) and continue from there. Or you can walk there.―Suman Mircea

With a snowed in emergency lane in winter, cars can only hold on the very driving lane.Also, they go pretty fast once it straightens out. We were lucky only before the bend.

Best spot ever. To have the best chances, be sure to stand just before the roundabout, and not further east on Silkeborgvej.I've been here several times, going towards Silkeborg, and have never waited longer than 5 minutes.
