Not really an ideal place for hitching, since it is difficult for cars to stop. Nevertheless, I got a ride after only 10 mins.

You can reach it by foot from the train station in 10 minutes. It’s at a bus stop with a traffic light right in front of it, so drivers have time to think about whether they want to pick you up. Our sign said "South.", after 5 minutes we got a lift

Its terrible. There’s no room for cars to pull over easily—and just Danish cars heading to the nearest town. You can’t walk anywhere—like to McDonald’s, for example—because you’d have to cross a bridge that has no pedestrian access.

Sleept in a closeby shelter. The spot isn't perfect, but it's the best available option for going south. There is a small parking area where cars can pull over. We waited about 30 minutes and held a sign that said "South."

Got a ride easily from the bus stop. It's on the road where everyone from Vejle goes north through.

Met another hitchhiker who was going to Turkey on this spot! It's a good spot.

Great for going to Germany. You can get here from service station going up north using bridge on small road little bit north of that place. Getting from the "northern" service station to bridge is easy as there is small road connecting it to the service station but if you don't want to REALY go around while going from the bridge to this spot you will need to walk a litte next to a highway, just keep that in mind. If you are brave enough you can try to run through the motorway but I don't recommend that

Great for going north but terrible for going to Germany. Literally nobody goes there from those who stop. At the end I decided to go little bit up north to service station going north and cross highway to service station going south

Was going to Copenhagen, had a sign with CPH. (KBH would have been smarter I think) Stood at the exit of the parking lot and got picked up quickly by a Finnish family on holiday. There's also free toilet here and maybe even free shower, I didn't check if it cost anything but it looked pretty free to me. On a Friday morning in summer there was lots of traffic, also Germans.

Favourite spot for leaving Holstebro going east. Many cars don't go so far, but it's easy to stop and you're very visible. If you want to travel far, I'd be critical with taking rides that go just to Herning, getting stuck in the north west side of Herning is kind of a pain in the ass. Same goes for Gølstrup where the hospital is, hard to get out of there.

Many Danes on their shopping trips, saw a lot of campervans and I think especially in summer many Germans going on holiday to Scandinavia. The car wash station here gave me an energy drink. Got offered a ride to Vejle. Asking at the shopping mall parking lot would probably be faster but if you don't feel social this works.

The shoulder is definitely still there, good space to stand and plenty of space for cars to stop. Both for going towards Herning and towards Aarhus works. I don't think I've ever waited here more than 10 minutes. If you see the sticker with Change the System bottom up I put it there :P

Very fine spot, since there is a lane for turning left where people can hold.

This spot is next to the "Blafferstoppested". The parking spot at the "Blafferstoppested" is too short, so it's much better to stand a bit in front of it.

Cities in Jutland is difficult to get to, so it's better just to write "Jylland" and chat with the people stopping.

Waited 2,5 hours on the 23rd of December.

A guy and a girl on a Monday at noon without a sign. This spot should be ok, but we only got local traffic to Kolding. We got dropped at an even worst place... Might be better to ask around or wait for cars to Hamburg (HH plates).
