There is an okay place to hitch south (towards Kotka). Its a bus stop so there is place to stop for cars.―Anonymous

Small petrol station, cafe and rest space. Ask drivers for ride. From my experience most of them go to Kouvola.―Anonymous

Towards Helsinki. Most of the cars going to Helsinki from Kouvola should pass this place. A lot of space for cars to stop and good visibility but cars usually drive at high speed. Also good visibility for drivers, that enter the road from the cafe across the road and they drive slow enough to spot you. You can also try asking drivers at the parking space near that cafe across the road.―Anonymous
