There's a bit of an obstacle preventing people from seeing you, but there's a roundabout to make up for it, and I think they can see you fine. Someone even had time for filming me haha. Great for south, possible for going north, not sure how good. If you want to try and hitchhike where I did, can write "Tuusula" on your sign to get on the 45―Jarnohitchikes

I'm not so sure this is a good spot to get to Koivukylä, but a Senegalian guy went to the wrong way to bring me all the way to where I wanted to go. Also.... I had an interesting time standing here late in the evening. Has ton of space to stop but not the best visibility because there is a hill in front so it blocks a view but if you stand at the end of bus stop there should be enough time for driver to decide.But either way i got offer to pay 100 euros for two boys to take me to helsinki even tho they are going there and grind never stops for them.
But then i laughed and declined. In 5 minutes arrived a romanian guy going back to romania from nordkapp. And he was planning to go on ferry to tallinn which i needed also in the morning so we agreed to sleep in one of parking spots and go together to the ferry. But then I eoke up and he wasnt there so I had to go by public transport because i already had a ticket :((( but it was fun journey. He was shouting more than talking re

Good amount of traffic but better not many people stops. From positive sides there is a bus bay which gives you perfect space for car to stop. I recommend to don't accept shorter rides than those to Mantsala―Autostopeks

Tried to get a ride towards Lappenranta direction from 12.30 pm to 5 pm on Tuesday. A lot of truck drivers to ask. But farest that people were driving to was Porvoo. Most of them were going to Helsinki. Got stuck here and had to return back to Helsinki.―MustacheHitcher

20 mins to Porvoo from the bus stand. It was my first time hitch hiking. Sign recommended since the road seperates into two quickly after the bus stop.―Anonymous
