A lot of traffic. We stood behind the toll station with a Perpignan sign. After 10 minutes we had a ride. If you want to get on the a9 this is a really good option. I don’t know if it is reachable by foot

So many cars going through the gas station, you can stand in a way for 5 rows of cars to constantly see you. Really nice

Go after the gates, there a small parking on the right and space to park. Cars that go to north have to cross paths to get to you, but if you go to south it's easier
Hard to get in, long walk needed before
Many people going to Barcelona

Got picked up almost immediately with a breziers sign. Maybe we were lucky. No shade and there is a bit of space for cars.

Very good place. WiFi, bathroom and place to set up the tent in the field behind the aria de servicio. I arrived there late night, but in the field you can find some spots quite hidden and sleep till relatively late if you want, the field doesn't look like the type of field where the farmer goes everyday, quite the opposite. Plenty of trucks and french and German cars. As another guy already said you can be ambitious.

Was just standing at the end of the station because I'm lazy, sign Barcelona. Still got a ride within 20 minutes. Less friendly cars than before, but lots of them (very good steady flow, it was also lunch time).

Waited at the exit of the car area for 5 minutes with sign Barcelona. Lots of cars and trucks. Got approached with ride to Narbonne by lovely older couple, took it. They fed me breakfast and sweets.

Generally a lot of traffic and easy to ask cars by the petrol station or the restaurant. Started asking people at 5.30pm and only got a ride at 9.30pm.
Maybe we were not lucky because the highway to Toulouse was closed off because of the wildfires.
Eventually this very sweet couple took us and actually gave us a ride to the doorstep of our friend's house, so that was amazing!

Great spot, cars have a good chance to stop there. You have to walk a bit from the roundabout to this spot (appr. 10 min) beware of that. Also at the roundabout people told us where to go, so it is quite a known spot.
Can really recommend it!

Someone dropped me there. Not the best stop to go to Carcassonne but still someone stopped to give me a ride to the highway which was much easier. At least there is space for the cars to stop.
