Waited there for 10min under the heating sun (no shade) with a sign and my thumb. Approximatively 9cars/min heading in the direction of Narbone. There is enough space for the cars to park momentarily. Quite a good spot but not the best to go to Narbonne, might be better to try to get a car on the highway A9. Great spot. Approximatively 7 car/min passing by, entering the highway to Béziers. Waited 3min with a sign to Béziers and got picked up by a nice person. There is enough space for the cars to stop but there is no shade.I recommande this spot―Anonymous

No problem to find rides, was trying for Barcelona/Girona, a lot of people were going to Toulouse. Waited at the end of the station before the roundabout, but asking around should work well too.―friki

There's decent space after the roundabout for cars to stop, later the road becomes a highway. Alternative route if you want to get past Mulhouse towards Besançon.―friki

I think it's an ok spot. My problem was that I was heading in the direction of Clermont Ferrand and the people seemed to be going to Montpellier. Other problem is that it was in the evening so less people travelling.Approximately 6 car/min. Eventually some guy heading to Béziers took me in.

A lot of traffic. We stood behind the toll station with a Perpignan sign. After 10 minutes we had a ride. If you want to get on the a9 this is a really good option. I don’t know if it is reachable by foot―GoFi

I was heading towards A75 in the direction of Clermont ferrant. Waited 30min with my thumb and sign with approximately 1-2 cars/min without a success. Then I asked around during 15min and found a car heading to Montpellier that dropped me at the first exit near Béziers. I think the spot is good but I was there at almost 22h so maybe too late to catch a ride.―Anonymous

Very good place. WiFi, bathroom and place to set up the tent in the field behind the aria de servicio. I arrived there late night, but in the field you can find some spots quite hidden and sleep till relatively late if you want, the field doesn't look like the type of field where the farmer goes everyday, quite the opposite. Plenty of trucks and french and German cars. As another guy already said you can be ambitious.―Iaclem
