not alot of cars and a few embarrassed "I don't speak French" clearly feeling weary. I asked a bit at the parking in front of the station, then at the bigger parking. i ended up asking a guy at the shell electric charge, that went directly to toulouse from here, my final destination! if all goes well, then I'm set for the ride !―Anonymous

wanted to get out of the peage ASAP. the point u see near poussan is me it just did not log my correct location. most ppl wanted to go to Montpellier and I needed to go towards bezier/tls. ended up having a ride to à good hitchhike spot near bezier so it worked out, but there was a worker coming just as I got in the car so I wonder if I was close to overstaying my welcome, but maybe not. I needed to get out of sete and I had accepted to be dropped off here, but I would recommend trying to get someone directly in the right A9 direction, even if it all worked out in the end―Anonymous

Coming from Marseille, got dropped off here to change direction and go westwards.I stood rigth after the toll gate, next to the toll's rest area entrance so cars could stop there. There is a nice tree to give you shadow here super neat!
I had to wait a bit but a truck stopped goind to Barcelona, perfect ride !

There is a lot of cars some Spanish some from Netherlands but most of them are French so it’s best to know French.First day we could find no one to go with towards Spain so we slept under a trees close to gas station.
Second day we asked for one hour and we met Spanish dudes and they took us close to Perpignan.

Waited there for 10min under the heating sun (no shade) with a sign and my thumb. Approximatively 9cars/min heading in the direction of Narbone. There is enough space for the cars to park momentarily. Quite a good spot but not the best to go to Narbonne, might be better to try to get a car on the highway A9. There's decent space after the roundabout for cars to stop, later the road becomes a highway. Alternative route if you want to get past Mulhouse towards Besançon.―friki

I think it's an ok spot. My problem was that I was heading in the direction of Clermont Ferrand and the people seemed to be going to Montpellier. Other problem is that it was in the evening so less people travelling.Approximately 6 car/min. Eventually some guy heading to Béziers took me in.

A lot of traffic. We stood behind the toll station with a Perpignan sign. After 10 minutes we had a ride. If you want to get on the a9 this is a really good option. I don’t know if it is reachable by foot―GoFi

I was heading towards A75 in the direction of Clermont ferrant. Waited 30min with my thumb and sign with approximately 1-2 cars/min without a success. Then I asked around during 15min and found a car heading to Montpellier that dropped me at the first exit near Béziers.
